Julia Mathew, M.D. is a compassionate and highly proficient cornea eye specialist and surgeon. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and performed her medical internship at NSLIJ-Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York prior to completing her residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in cornea at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York, New York.

Dr. Mathew originally received her bachelor of science degree in biology and sociology and completed post-graduate studies in Clinical Leadership in Health Management from Union College, Schenectady, New York.

Dr. Mathew is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
